On a sidenote, i too performed a splatter paint process. i first painted the entire bottom of the boat's interior with a light gray paint. then i used "dupont spatter paint - gray w/ white fleck". one it dried completly, i painted it with rustoleum spar varnish to seal. i am very pleased with the results. regards, stevieb. #688910 - 06/15/11 03:38 pm re: splatter paint for the drift boat [re: steeliedrew] mooch three time spawner registered: 12/24/01 posts: 1971 loc: low hole grey (approx 18%) base with or without white spatter is a great all around choice. personal preferences aside there is sound color management science for grey. i re-painted the interior. My boat's interior is getting a little faded and scrached up, so i figured i would repaint it. the interior is fiberglass with the little black paint splatter design. i think a spraypaint sort of deal would work fine, i'm looking for white that's glossy (like you see many boat interiors today). any ideas?.
