build aluminum boat kit Hi, i've been doing a bit of research on the option of building a aluminium kit boat, specifically one from cnc marine 6.1 hard to half cabin. have access to a professional welder to weld it up for me but i'm just more interested in other people's experience with building their own aluminium kit boat eg quality, ride, resale values of a boat. All of the kitset’s include all of the alloy plate required to build the boat, unlike some other kit boats on the market that only include the exterior shell. (please note no extruded aluminum is included in the kit, but can be supplied at extra cost.) the kit arrives as a flat pack to save on shipping costs..
