cost to paint a boat hull I think your pricing may be high because you're not taking it to shop that does boats regularly. i got estimates in your range when i was pricing also. normal shops just aren't setup to paint boat so the cost will always be much higher. that boat should paint for arount 2,000.00 when taken to a marine paint shop.. The complete hull and deck paint for the c&c 33 would be higher of course, because of the labor to remove the deck hardware. likely in the neighborhood of $8500-$9500 (depending on deck hardware) for hull fairing, epoxy primer, lpu topcoat, bottom paint, removal and re-bedding of deck hardware, topside and non-skid paint..
