For all your rc upgrades hey there, had an issue with some electronics and thought this type of video might come in handy for those looking to troubleshoot their own rc electronics... If your controls work, but your motor doesn't power up, don't panic! it is likely that your esc needs to be initialized. as a safety precaution, many modern escs need to be initialized and calibrated to your radio's throttle range, before the esc will allow the motor to spin. below are the instructions to initialize the esc: we also have a video which shows the complete process at the bottom. To have the plane save itself when in trouble and go into level flight, some devices call it "auto-balance" or "recovery" mode. those modes don't consistently work. for now, your best bet is to buy bind n fly or ready to fly planes with safe from horizon hobby dealers or directly from them..
