The club was formed as a ‘spin off’ of the avon cosmetics model club and sailing took place on the water in front of the factory. originally all the members were into ic power boats and multi racing in particular. racing took place at billing aquadrome and later in beckets park and many regattas were held. northampton & district model. It is administered by racing model yacht enthusiasts and meets at the boating lake most sunday mornings from 9.30am. the club does not have a membership fee, however if you regularly participate in our racing sessions we would require you to either join.
